Swift denials have emerged on Sunday, surrounding claims that Barcelona star Marc-André ter Stegen has agreed to a move away from the club.

The name of goalkeeper Ter Stegen has reemerged as an altogether prominent one in the headlines across Europe over the course of the day to date.

This comes after the transfer-linked German international was rumoured to have reached an agreement on the terms of a move to Turkey, with Galatasaray.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘The website of the newspaper ‘Fanatik’ assures that the German would have already accepted Galatasaray’s offer on personal terms pending an agreement between the clubs.’

Almost as quickly as such claims surfaced, however, they have in turn been rebuffed.

As per a report from Barcelona insider Achraf Ben Ayad, since backed elsewhere in the Spanish press:

‘As of now, Ter Stegen does not have an agreement with any club.’
