Barcelona stars to clash in Euro 2024 round-of-16 | OneFootball

Headline members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona will go head-to-head in the knockout rounds of Euro 2024.

As much was confirmed by way of developments in the tournament on Tuesday night.

The latest round of group stage fixtures at the European Championships played to completion a short time ago.

On a rather dull evening in Group C, the fixtures between both England and Slovenia, and Denmark and Serbia, ended in goalless draws.

This resulted in England advancing as group winners, with Denmark as runners-up.

The latter have since been made aware of their opponents-in-waiting in the Last-16, too, with Denmark set to face off against Germany.

And, in the process, stars from the aforementioned Barcelona will lock horns on the pitch.

In the German squad, the Blaugrana are represented by both İlkay Gündoğan, and Marc-André ter Stegen.

Turning attentions towards the Danish ranks, and Andreas Christensen is flying the flag for Hansi Flick’s troops, no doubt eager to get one over on his heavily favoured teammates in the battle for a spot in the quarter-finals of the Euros.
