Barcelona stars sit 1st & 2nd on list of key passers in Europe’s top-5 leagues | OneFootball

Two star members of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona sit 1st and 2nd on the list of Europe’s leading key passers thus far this season.

That’s according to DataMB, who point towards Raphinha and Lamine Yamal as the players in question.

Wide-man Raphinha and Lamine have of course both enjoyed stellar openings to the new campaign.

As Barcelona continue to shine as a collective under the watch of new head coach Hansi Flick, the club’s two chief creators have absolutely shone out wide.

Raphinha has racked up nine goals and six assists in 13 appearances, with Lamine boasting five goals and seven assists in the same number of outings.

With Barca firing on all cylinders, and creating chances for fun, it should in turn come as little surprise to hear of the Blaugrana’s attacking pair leading all players across the continent in key passes.

As per the aforementioned DataMB, Raphinha sits top of the top-5 leagues in the category, having racked up 14 thus far this term. Lamine then sits two key passes back, in 2nd.
