Barcelona star to move to Saudi Arabia in 2026 | OneFootball

A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is all set to take his talents to the Middle East in the summer of 2026.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Robert Lewandowski as the player in question.

Veteran frontman Lewandowski, as things stand, is due to see his contract terms with Barcelona expire in 12 months’ time.

With the Pole set to turn 38 years of age not long after, the widespread assumption has therefore long been that Lewandowski will bring a close to his Camp Nou stint next summer.

And if the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, then the player’s most likely landing spot is Saudi Arabia.

As per a report from Sport, citing Saudi outlet Al-Riyadiyah:

“There is no conversation at the moment between the representatives of the Saudi League and the player, but this will come and the Saudi Arabian League will see how the player joins one of its teams from 2026.”
