A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is in line for an improved new contract.

That’s according to Relevo, who point towards Raphinha as the player in question.

Wide-man Raphinha is of course in the midst of nothing short of a sensational campaign to date.

Amid the freedom afforded to him in Hansi Flick’s free-flowing, attack-minded new system, the Brazilian has exploded into one of Barcelona’s standout performers.

All told, in 40 appearances across all competitions thus far, Raphinha has directly contributed to 43 goals.

And as much, evidently, has not gone unappreciated behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

This comes amid confirmation that Deco and the Barcelona brass are preparing a contract renewal offer to the club’s in-form winger.

As per a report from Relevo, the Blaugrana are preparing:

‘A more than considerable increase that will place Raphinha at the top of the salary scale and will take him out of the middle class in which he was integrated.’
