Barcelona star surpasses tally for whole of last season with assist vs Celta Vigo | OneFootball

A head-turning statistic, highlighting the increased attacking output on the part of Barcelona star Jules Koundé this season, has come to the fore on Saturday night.

This comes after the Frenchman laid on his latest assist.

In the process, the former Sevilla man took his tally for the campaign to date to an impressive five assists.

As revealed by statisticians StatMuse, this is one more than Koundé managed in the whole of the 2023/24 season, a testament to both the influence of boss Hansi Flick, and the ongoing efforts of the defender to improve his attacking game.
