Barcelona star speaks out on his future after starring performance vs Valencia | OneFootball

Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong provided a brief insight into his future, on the back of the club’s most recent outing.

Barca are of course fresh off a dominant return to winning ways on the domestic front.

After welcoming Valencia to Catalunya’s capital, the Blaugrana ran riot, to the tune of an eventual 7-1 triumph.

The aforementioned Frenkie de Jong for his part featured from the off in the clash, and set the goalscoring in motion amid what was a superb individual display.

So impressive did the Dutchman look on Sunday, that many of a Barcelona persuasion have since called for De Jong to stay put, in the midst of long-term speculation surrounding his future.

Speaking to the media in the game’s aftermath, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his uncertain status at the Camp Nou was put to the midfielder himself.

And De Jong went on to explain:

“I feel very good at Barcelona. I’m just focused on the present, and then there will be time for everything.”
