Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is expected to afford star attacker Lamine Yamal a rest in the club’s post-international break return to action this weekend.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Wide-man Lamine of course set alarm bells sounding in Barcelona earlier this week.
As much came after the 17-year-old was forced into a premature departure from international duty with Spain.
Put through an ensuing round of medical tests on Monday, it therefore marked a source of relief when any kind of serious injury for Lamine was ruled out.
The youngster, though, nevertheless remained absent from group training to start the week, with his status to face Sevilla on Sunday night, in turn, considered as somewhat up in the air.
As alluded to above, this evening, an update on the situation has therefore been provided in the media.
The info comes courtesy of Sport, and confirms that, as things stand, ‘Hansi Flick is expected to give Lamine a rest on Sunday against Sevilla at Montjuïc’.
