The display put forth by a member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona will no doubt have been taken full note of by manager Hansi Flick.
The player in question? Ferran Torres.
Versatile attacker Ferran was for his part back in action a short time ago.
En route to Spain’s 4-1 Nations League drubbing of Switzerland, the former Manchester City man was introduced to proceedings at the interval, in place of Barcelona teammate Lamine Yamal.
And, safe to say, that Ferran went on to make his impact very much felt.
After laying on Spain’s 3rd of the night for Fabián Ruiz, the 24-year-old then turned goalscorer himself ten minutes from time, capping a fine individual performance.
Amid fan criticism, Ferran was dropped to the bench for the first time this season by Barcelona boss Hansi Flick in the club’s final outing heading into the international break.
On Sunday, though, the Spaniard sent a timely reminder to his manager, regarding his talents when firing on all cylinders.
