A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has reportedly received a considerable financial offer, to bring a close to his stint with the club this summer.

The player in question? Marc-André ter Stegen.

Goalkeeper Ter Stegen’s future has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last couple of weeks.

This comes amid the understanding that Espanyol standout Joan García’s arrival at Barcelona could push the club’s long-time no.1 out the exit door.

Speaking publicly, Ter Stegen has himself remained unwavering that he will be going nowhere over the months ahead, eager to prolong his 10+ year stay at the Camp Nou.

But as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the press on Sunday is anything to go by, one of the German’s leading suitors have nevertheless sent a contract offer his way with a view to next season…

As per Diario Sport, citing sources in Turkey:

‘Some reports indicate that the goalkeeper would already have a first offer on the table: 5 million euros net per season,’ from Galatasaray.

It is also noted that Gala, fresh off securing the high-profile signing of Leroy Sané, would be willing to negotiate either a loan with option to buy, or low-cost permanent transfer for Ter Stegen with Barcelona.
