For Barcelona, there are many such players within their squad. Lamine Yamal, for instance, has already won the Kopa Trophy and many other accolades to prove that he is truly a generational sensation for both Barcelona and football. Similarly, he was preceded by the likes of Pedri and Gavi, both of whom won the Kopa Trophy as well.

Pedri, however, is now reaching heights that he has perhaps never reached before in his career so far. As highlighted by MARCA, the young 21-year-old Spanish midfielder continues to be a crucial piece for Hansi Flick’s team, and his passing is a specific asset that helps make this team stand out as much as it does.

Statistically, Pedri has completed 539 passes across this season so far, and that goes on to show the sheer quantity of his distribution. Moreover, across the last three La Liga outings, against the likes of Alaves, Sevilla, and Real Madrid, Pedri managed an average of 58 passes per game while maintaining an average success rate of 90.86%.

He has also been directly involved in four goals this season in La Liga, with three of them being goals and one being an assist against Villarreal. This consistency and quality, particularly during the month of October, has even led to the player being recognized by La Liga for his efforts and winning the award for the best Under-23 Player of the month.

Moreover, with Pedri having been fortunate when it comes to injuries so far this season, perhaps his biggest burden has been lifted off. The young Barcelona star has struggled with a lot of different physical issues over the past, but those problems now look to be behind him as he has played in every single official match so far this season for Barça.
