Barcelona star ‘on the list’ of Bayern Munich | OneFootball

A headline member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona remains of interest to Bayern Munich ahead of the summer.

That’s according to German transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, who has on Monday provided an insight into the situation.

The Barca star in the sights of the Bayern brass comes in the form of Frenkie de Jong.

The 26-year-old boasts a number of long-term admirers at the Allianz Arena, therefore remaining ‘on the list’ to reinforce the club’s midfield.

As a result, the powers that be in Bavaria are continuing to keep a close eye on his situation, should De Jong become available for transfer.

At present, however, it would be an exaggeration to say that Bayern are actively seeking a deal.

This comes owing to concern over De Jong’s ‘extremely high net salary’ at Barcelona.
