Barcelona star confirms plans to stay at the club ‘forever’ | OneFootball

Barcelona star Pedri has this week provided an insight into his long-term plans in Catalunya’s capital.

Midfielder Pedri was of course back in action last night, as Barcelona welcomed Ligue 1 outfit Stade Brestois to Montjuïc for a Champions League clash.

The 22-year-old went on to enjoy nothing short of a brilliant display, dazzling from his berth in the middle of the park en route to an eventual 3-0 triumph.

As much kept alive what has been a superb campaign to date on Pedri’s part.

Looking back to his world-class best under the watch of Hansi Flick, all of a Barcelona persuasion will in turn no doubt be interested to hear of the Spanish international providing a fresh insight into his future.

Speaking on the back of Barca’s downing of Brest on Tuesday, Pedri was asked for the latest on his ongoing contract talks with the Camp Nou brass.

And, in his response, the midfielder assured:

“My renewal? There are many years ahead, but I’ve always said this is the club where I want to stay forever. I don’t know anything about today’s meeting.”
