Barcelona star Pablo Torre has been convinced of the merits of a summer move to La Liga rivals RCD Mallorca.
That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who has on Friday provided an insight into the situation.
Midfielder Torre is for his part widely expected to be on the move over the weeks ahead, after struggling for game-time in Hansi Flick’s star-studded Barcelona squad this past season.
Until very recently, the aforementioned Mallorca had been considered the clear frontrunners for his services, locked in talks with Barca and the player alike.
This was until the emergence of an unnamed Champions League club in the race for Torre’s signature saw the 22-year-old request time to mull over his decision.
As alluded to above, though, in the end, it is Mallorca who appear to have won out.
As per a report from journalist Matteo Moretto:
‘Pablo Torre is convinced. Now Mallorca and Barça must negotiate the final details of the deal.’
