Barcelona signing Lewandowski: I'll return to Bayern Munich for proper farewell

Robert Lewandowski says he'll return to Bayern Munich for a proper farewell after his move to Barcelona was announced on Saturday.

Lewandowski took his last training session with Bayern on Saturday morning and spoke to his team-mates about his departure to Barcelona.

“They have been eight wonderful years in Munich, that I will never forget, a fantastic era," said the striker. “I will come back to say goodbye to all the staff after the tour with Barça."

Emotional moments for the nearly 34 year old striker, who will link up with Barcelona in Miami.

“I said goodbye to my team-mates today on the pitch. I was not worried about getting injured, these are things that could even happen to you at home."
