FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta has utilized the international break to make two significant trips, one to Mongolia and another to Azerbaijan, to explore new opportunities for the club.
Accompanied by directors Xavi Puig, Joan Soler, his partner Xavier Arbos, and his trusted advisor Alejandro Echevarría, Laporta held high-profile meetings that could open exciting doors for Barça.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona are now set to expand its global merchandise offerings through an exclusive partnership with Mongolia’s leading cashmere manufacturer, Gobi.
This collaboration will allow Gobi to produce and distribute official Barça-branded cashmere products, combining the club’s iconic imagery with Mongolia’s renowned cashmere craftsmanship.

The partnership was solidified during the visit to Mongolia, where he met with Gobi representatives and attended a fashion show featuring the new collection at Gobi’s Galleria branch.
Gobi announced that negotiations with FC Barcelona’s licensing subsidiary, BLM (Barça Licensing & Merchandising), have reached an advanced stage, granting Gobi the exclusive right to manufacture and sell merchandise for the club.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both parties. For FC Barcelona, it introduces high-quality cashmere products into their merchandise lineup.
For Gobi, it provides an opportunity to showcase Mongolian cashmere on a global platform, aligning with their mission to promote the value of Mongolian cashmere to international consumers.
This partnership supports sustainable and ethical production practices, as Gobi is committed to eco-friendly manufacturing and preserving Mongolian nomadic traditions
