Barcelona set to win race for Roony Bardghji | OneFootball

According to an exclusive report from French media Foot Mercato, Barcelona FC are set to become the surprise winners of the race to secure Roony Bardghji from Copenhagen. The Catalan club have reportedly struck an agreement with their Danish counterparts.

Foot Mercato writes that Barcelona had offered Copenhagen the same amount as Porto FC, €2.5 million with a 15% resale fee, enough to convince the club to part ways with the Swedish youth international, especially with his contract expiring in December.

It’s now up to the winger to decide which of the two clubs he will join, with the French outlet explaining that his preference seems to be in favour of Barcelona. Olympique de Marseille had been linked with Bardghji, but questions over his fitness arose, which scuppered the club’s interest. Marseille will instead look to other targets as they prepare for their return to the UEFA Champions League.
