Barcelona have been heavily linked with a summer move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, who will be a free agent at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, the Blaugrana are also big admirers of the centre-back’s club and international teammate, Florian Wirtz, who is one of the most in-demand Bundesliga stars.
As such, ESPN reports that Barcelona will have scouts present at Bayer Leverkusen’s UEFA Champions League clash tonight to monitor both Tah and Wirtz.
The German champions are in Spain currently as they take on Atletico Madrid at the Civitas Metropolitano later tonight in the penultimate league-phase fixture in the UCL.
It must be noted that Barça have already held talks with Tah and his agent, Pini Zahavi, over a potential transfer at the end of the season.

In fact, reports suggest that the Blaugrana are primed to sign the 28-year-old German international in the summer for free.
However, the imminent renewal of Ronald Araujo might lead to the centre-back reconsidering the situation.
As for Wirtz, the 21-year-old has been tracked by Barça for a long time now, with the player himself being an admirer of the Blaugrana club.
However, a transfer this summer looks unlikely as he is set to add a year to his current contract with Leverkusen, taking it until 2028. As such, any move would command a huge fee, something that Barcelona might not be in a position to afford.
Irrespective of how things unfold, Barcelona will have scouts present at today’s game between Leverkusen and Atletico to watch the Bundesliga duo in action.
