Barcelona set sights on Ian Subiabre signing | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona are eyeing a deal for one of the breakout talents of South American football.

That’s according to TNT Sports, who point towards Ian Subiabre as the player in question.

Subiabre, for his part, is an 18-year-old attacker, who chiefly operates on the right wing.

Despite his tender years, the starlet is already an established first-team player at Argentine heavyweights River Plate, fresh off bidding farewell to one of their crown jewels following Franco Mastantuono’s decision to join Real Madrid this summer.

And if the latest word stemming from Argentina this weekend is anything to go by, then Subiabre, it would appear, could soon follow Mastantuono to one of Spanish football’s leading clubs.

As per a report from TNT Sports, ahead of the expiration of his contract terms in 2026:

‘River’s jewel is wanted by Barca. Maxi Grillo and Chiquito Garcia report that Barcelona are closely monitoring Ian Subiabre.’
