Barcelona have reportedly sent senior scouts to watch AZ Alkmaar playmaker Calvin Stengs.
Stengs has been a standout performer for AZ this season, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists in 20 appearances.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barça officials will be in attendance to watch Netherlands against Estonia on November 19, where the 20-year-old is expected to start.
The LaLiga giants are short on attacking depth and have also considered LAFC forward Carlos Vela and Chelsea winger Willian as January options.
But Stengs has also made their shortlist with AZ impressing in the Eredivisie and Europe under Arne Slot.
It remains unclear whether the Eredivisie outfit would be willing to sell their prized asset in January.
