Barcelona have announced the signing of youngster Pablo Torre from Racing Club – a player hailed as ‘the new Pedri’.
Both clubs confirmed the deal on Friday evening, with the Blaugrana paying an initial €5 million, although the fee could rise to over €20m depending on performance-related bonuses being met.
The attack-minded midfielder has signed a deal until the summer of 2026 and has a €100m release clause in his contract.
Torre has played 48 games for the Verdiblancos since his debut in 2020 and had also been courted by Real Madrid.
He will make the move to the Catalan capital in the summer and will initially link up with Barcelona’s B team.
