Barcelona rethinking interest in Basel striker Arthur Cabral

Barcelona are rethinking their interest in FC Basel striker Arthur Cabral.

Sport says Cabral has been an option on the Barcelona table when it comes to looking for a forward in the winter window. He has spectacular numbers, albeit in Switzerland, and is at an age where he could be a good investment.

Deco, operating in Brazil for Barca president Joan Laporta, suggests this player be signed. However he has not passed all the filters necessary to be a real target, it seems.

Barcelona are looking for goals and he has that, but his name is not currently among the list of players to sign. After initial contact, conversations have been moved to standby, as they are looking for other deals that do pass all the club's filters.
