Barcelona & Real Madrid learn their Champions League fixture lists | OneFootball

The two heavyweights of Spanish football have on Saturday learned of their respective schedules for the upcoming edition of the Champions League.

This, of course, comes after the draw for the newly-formatted Champions League was made on Friday.

Barcelona, for one, have been pitted against the likes of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta in the new ‘league phase’.

On opening day, meanwhile, Hansi Flick’s troops will make the trip to France, for a meeting with AS Monaco.

Turning attentions towards the other half of the Clásico divide, and reigning tournament holders Real Madrid have been matched up with the likes of Liverpool, AC Milan, and Lille.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men will kick their campaign into gear on September 17th, in a meeting with German outfit Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabéu.
