Barcelona are hoping to complete a last-minute move for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before the transfer deadline.
The former Arsenal captain, who was stripped of his duties in December, has not featured for the Premier League club and a departure is imminent.
Following links to Barcelona new reports from Mundo Deportivo claim the Spanish club has “agreed everything” with Arsenal to sign the 32-year-old on loan until the end of the season.
However, there is still one big hurdle to overcome in order to complete the deal.
Aubameyang can only join Barcelona if Ousmane Dembélé departs, and the situation involving the Frenchman is at a standstill following a “lack of communication.”
Yet despite the current roadblock, Barcelona are still “attempting [a] miracle” in the next 48 hours to hopefully bring the striker to Spain even if it requires various economic adjustments.
Dembélé, meanwhile, has been linked with potential moves to Chelsea and Manchester United.
