Barcelona pushing for Mahrez transfer despite Man City commitment

Barcelona are very eager to sign Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City this summer.

The Catalans are looking to refresh the team after they failed to win La Liga or the Champions League last season.

Per El Chiringuito in Spain, the Algerian wants to move away from City and would be eager to sign for Barca.

However, Mahrez refuted the claims during a brief interview with DZ Sport while on international duty.

He said: "There is nothing about my future. I am well in Manchester. I will stay God willing."
