Barcelona president Joan Laporta is confident securing Pedri and Ansu Fati to new deals.
Negotiations with the exciting pair is now at an advanced stage.
That's according to Ok Diario's chief football pundit Eduardo Inda, when speaking on El Chiringuito. Inda, after leaving El Mundo, personally launched Ok Diario, which is now among the most popular news outlets in Europe.
Quoted by Ok Diario, Inda declared, "Laporta's plan is in the next Assembly of delegates, which is on Sunday, to announce the renewal of Ansu Fati and that of another wonderful Barcelona footballer who is Pedri."
Laporta plans to hand both youngsters improved, long-term deals. Fati is returning to full fitness having missed much of last season due to knee injury and complications during his recovery. However, there's confidence the Spain international will make his comeback this month.
Pedri, meanwhile, is recovering from a thigh strain suffered before the international break.
