Barcelona president Laporta digs in heels over Riqui Puig

Barcelona president Joan Laporta won't consider losing Riqui Puig this summer.

It's been claimed Barca were prepared to sell the midfield schemer in the coming months.

However, Cataluyna Radio reports Laporta wants to keep hold of Puig and has let it be known to the player and coach Ronald Koeman.

Laporta sees Puig as a great example of the La Masia academy and is eager to see the youngster establish himself in the first team.

The 21 year-old has a deal with Barca to 2023.
