Barcelona are set to host Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening at their temporary home ground of Montjuïc in Champions League action from the League phase of the competition.

This match follows the Blaugrana’s resounding 5-1 win over Sevilla on Sunday at the same venue, with goals from Robert Lewandowski, Pedri, and Pablo Torre.

Barcelona looks set to field a very similar squad to the one that started on Sunday. Many of their stars made exits not long after the hour mark, hopefully keeping them fresh for the match against Bayern.

The biggest change is likely to be the return of Dani Olmo, who hasn’t played since September when he was injured in a 4-1 win away at Girona.

The former RB Leipzig star was on the bench at the weekend against Sevilla but did not feature, and could now be back at sufficient match sharpness to feature from the start.

Gavi, despite making a cameo on Sunday, is unlikely to feature from the start against Bayern given his long period on the sidelines, but he may come off the bench.
