Both Frenkie De Jong and Pedri suffered injuries against Athletic at the start of March, however, both are returning around the same time. The two players are both pushing for a starting place as Barcelona prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

De Jong and Pedri have both travelled to Paris for the fixture, to be held at the Parc des Princes. De Jong has sufficiently recovered from an ankle injury, whilst Pedri has recovered from a hamstring injury. Speaking at a pre-match press conference, attended by Get Football, Barcelona manager Xavi said that a decision would be taken on Wednesday regarding the match fitness of the two players. It is thought that De Jong has a better chance of starting the encounter than Pedri.
