Barcelona secured an emphatic 4-0 win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night, taking a step towards securing a spot in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
The Blaugrana dominated the German giants despite being without a key player in Dani Olmo, who is recovering from an adductor injury he sustained right after the international break.
Now, according to Mundo Deportivo, Olmo has resumed partial training with the group today, as was expected, indicating that his recovery is progressing well.
Barcelona initially estimated a three-week recovery period after his injury during the win over Osasuna on March 27.
Just two weeks later, though, the 26-year-old has already resumed training, as he took part in part of the session at Ciutat Esportiva today, signalling great progress in his recovery.

However, he will not feature in Saturday’s La Liga clash against Leganes and it remains to be seen whether he will receive medical clearance in time for Tuesday’s return leg against Borussia Dortmund.
Given the commanding lead Barcelona hold after the first leg, there is no urgency to bring Olmo, whose registration for the rest of the season is no longer an issue, back ahead of schedule.
His initial target was to return for the second leg, but the team’s strong advantage means there is less pressure to rush him back and as such the Catalans might refrain from risking it.
Olmo, thus, is expected to be back for the game against Celta Vigo at Montjuic on Saturday, 19 April, just a week before the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid, scheduled for 26 April at La Cartuja in Seville.
