Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig: I'll never throw in towel

Barcelona midfielder Riqui Puig says he's determined to make it under coach Ronald Koeman.

The pair fell out at the start of the season and Puig appeared on his way out. But he is now being celebrated after scoring the decisive penalty in their Supercopa de Espana semifinal shootout against Real Sociedad.

"I have never lost my smile," he said. "I'm a pretty happy kid.

"Even though I don't play much, things are going well: I have my family, my health. I can't complain about anything

"If Ronald gives me minutes I will be grateful and I will take advantage of it, and if not I will keep working.

"Throwing in the towel? I'd never do that. After so many years at the club, and the journey of reaching the first team, I am never going to throw in the towel."
