Barcelona midfielder Pedri has been named the 2021 Golden Boy.

The award, organised by Tuttosport, marks the U21 Player of the Year. Pedri wins the 19th edition of the award.

The Spain midfielder was a clear winner from the voting, securing 318 points. Behind him was England midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund on 119 points.

Among those to vote on the title were greats Andriy Shevchenko, Lothar Matthäus, Hristo Stoichkov, Emilio Butragueño and Rui Costa.

Along with the Golden Boy, Pedri also was named Player of the Tournament for this past summer's Olympics.
