Gavi is one of the players Barcelona will rely heavily on as they take on Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League tonight.
With Dani Olmo injured, the onus will be on Gavi to provide the creativity and aggression in the final third, as they look to break the shackles of a depleted Dortmund defence, which is without the services of Nico Schlotterbeck.
Nevertheless, speaking ahead of this crucial tie, Gavi told Movistar+ about the prospect of Barcelona winning the treble this season.
Gavi started by admitting that the entire team is thinking about treble, which is backed up by the fact that Lamine Yamal, too, has recently affirmed his view that Barça will win the treble this season.
“I think the whole team is thinking about the treble, it’s our dream. If you asked anyone in the squad, they would reply: ‘If only’,” he said.
Gavi, though, admitted that it is only a distant dream right now and Barcelona must approach each game individually.

“But like I said, it’s only a dream right now. We have to go match by match. We have a lot to go,” he added.
As mentioned earlier, Dortmund could prove to be a formidable opponent for Barcelona despite their poor form on the domestic front this season.
It must be noted that Dortmund coach Niko Kovac is well aware of Hansi Flick’s tactics, as the Barcelona used to be his assistant during their time together at Bayern Munich.
The Catalans, therefore, should start focusing on the immediate task at hand: Beating Barcelona, before they can start thinking about winning the treble.
