Barcelona management put back Ansu Fati return date

Barcelona management have decided to delay Ansu Fati's playing return.

The teenage winger hit the training pitch last week after recovering from knee surgery a year ago.

AS says, however, plans of a playing return this month are set to be put back to October.

Fati was not involved the friendly on Wednesday against Prat in a sure sign he isn't ready for a playing return.

Indeed, a Barca medical source says Fati "still has to add many more training sessions to play".

His return may now be delayed until after the international break, with the match against Valencia at the Camp Nou on October 17 a potential comeback date.
