Paris Saint-Germain have never hesitated to sign promising young talent from other club’s youth system, with players like Xavi Simons and Cher Ndour coming to mind.
Now, it looks like the capital club is ready to dive into that talent pool once again, though they’ll face some competition. Under sporting advisor Luis Campos, PSG is focusing on young, and ideally French, talent.
The club is moving away from big-name stars, aiming instead to build a team alongside manager Luis Enrique rather than relying on individual brilliance.
Last January, Fichajes reported that Manchester City and PSG have set their sights on 15-year-old winger Jeremy Monga, who plays for Leicester City’s Under-18 team. However, the report adds that Leicester is reluctant to let their rising star go anytime soon.

A new report from the Daily Mail reveals another potential suitor for the teenager as Barcelona and Manchester City track Leicester City’s promising talent. Monga was named on the bench for an FA Cup match last month, so the Foxes know what type of talent they have on their hands.
The young winger has stood out with his dribbling, speed, and ability to score and assist. Despite his age, his maturity and technical skill on the pitch have made him a key player in Leicester’s youth ranks, drawing the attention of several top clubs.
