Those behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona have been left concerned by word of a video call held by Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany this week.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing BILD, who point towards as Luis Díaz as the recipient of the call in question.
It is of course common knowledge at this point that both Barcelona and Bayern have set their sights on wide-man Díaz.
Amid respective efforts to add to their options in the final third for next season, the two heavyweights of European football have earmarked the Colombian international as the ideal profile.
And though Liverpool have to date stood firm in assuring that Díaz will be going nowhere this summer, Bayern, for one, have evidently not been deterred.
As per a report from MD:
‘Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany contacted Luis Díaz directly via video call to explain the German club’s sporting project and the role he would play.’
News of these developments has left Barcelona ‘worried’, albeit with Deco and co. aware that it remains Díaz’s ‘dream’ to pull on the colours of the Blaugrana.
