Barcelona junior coach Jordi Font proud of Oscar Mingueza debut

Barcelona junior coach Jordi Font is delighted for Oscar Mingueza over his first team debut this week.

The young defender featured in victory at Champions League opponents Dynamo Kiev.

And Font told Mundo Deportivo: “I am especially excited that Óscar has had this opportunity because he is a boy we signed when he was seven years old and I was lucky enough to take him from a first-year boy in football 7 to a first-year junior in football 11.

"He is a boy who, although it is a little clichéd, apart from being a good player is a charming person, he is a very open boy, very friendly and with good feelings. He is very affectionate, with a family behind that supports him and has known how to lead him and make him grow while maintaining these characteristics."
