Barcelona currently have three departures in the works: Vitor Roque (loan to Real Betis), Clement Lenglet (loan to Atletico Madrid) and Mikayil Faye (permanent transfer to Rennes). Club bosses are hoping that these exits are enough to finally register Dani Olmo with La Liga, and they could also help in their bid to sign Federico Chiesa.
Chiesa has emerged as Barcelona’s leading winger target. Personal terms have already been agreed, and in the coming days, an opening offer is expected to be submitted to Juventus.
According to Di Marzio, all parties involved in the deal are increasingly confident that it will be pulled off before the summer transfer window closes on Friday.
It’s been widely reported that Juventus are asking for approximately €15m. If Barcelona are secure a deal for approximately this amount, it could be a relatively good signing. However, there is a risk with this deal, as Chiesa has struggled in recent years with injuries.
