La Liga champions Barcelona are once again preparing to board a flight to Japan for an upcoming pre-season friendly meeting with Vissel Kobe.
That’s according to a number of sources across the Spanish media.
The subject of Barca’s pre-season plans has of course dominated the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 24 hours.
This comes after the Blaugrana released a surprise statement, confirming that the call had been made to cancel the first leg of their trip to Asia:
‘FC Barcelona announces that it has been obliged to suspend its participation in the game scheduled for next Sunday in Japan due to serious contractual breaches on behalf of the promotor.’
As alluded to above, however, just a day on, a fresh twist in the situation has now been revealed.
As confirmed by Blaugrana insider Gerard Romero, Hansi Flick’s squad have been scheduled to board a flight to Japan this afternoon.
This comes, it would appear, with a resolution having been found with the tour’s promoter.
The fixture against Vissel Kobe is therefore expected to go ahead as planned.
