FC Barcelona have enjoyed an impressive start to the season under Hansi Flick and while there have been a few bumps along the way, the team has consistently bounced back with determination.

Out of the 10 matches they have played so far, Barcelona have hosted four at their temporary home, Montjuic, and have emerged victorious in all of them.

Barcelona have not only displayed attacking prowess but have been equally resilient defensively. Their first home match was against Athletic Club Bilbao, during the second week of La Liga.

Despite a narrow margin, the Blaugrana managed to secure the three points. Prior to that, they had already made a positive statement by defeating Valencia away from home, marking a strong start to Flick’s reign.

The story was different for Real Valladolid when they visited Montjuic for the fourth league match. They were comprehensively beaten and failed to score a single goal. Getafe also faced a similar fate, leaving without putting a dent in Barcelona’s defence.

What do the numbers say?

Barcelona’s first home game in the Champions League this season added to the growing excitement. Young Boys, having already suffered losses against Osasuna and Monaco, were no match for the Blaugrana.

Barcelona’s attacking firepower was on full display, as they have now scored 15 goals in just four home games. In terms of defensive solidity, Barcelona have conceded only one goal at Montjuic, and that came against Athletic Club.

From the 15 goals scored at home, Robert Lewandowski has netted five, while Raphinha has contributed four, proving both players are in fine form.

Looking ahead, Sevilla are the next side set to visit Montjuic. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are reported to be closely monitoring Barcelona’s performances, possibly with an eye on some of their key players.

With the momentum Barcelona have built, they will be eager to maintain their winning streak and continue their strong form across all competitions.
