The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona consider the club’s squad for the coming season to be ‘closed’.
That’s according to Diario AS, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the situation.
The board at the Camp Nou have of course added to Hansi Flick’s squad courtesy of a trio of new signings across the summer to date.
These additions came in the form of Joan García, Marcus Rashford, and Roony Bardghji.
And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then those of a Barca persuasion should not look forward to any more arrivals over the weeks ahead.
Deco and co. consider the club’s first-team squad to be well-stocked in every position across the pitch, boasting a minimum of two solid options in every role.
The only possible transfer activity before the summer is out will therefore be on the departures front, with AS concluding that:
‘The door is open to anyone who might reconsider their future if they don’t play in the first few weeks and ask to leave. However, they must bring an attractive offer.’
