The board at La Liga champions Barcelona are now in collective agreement on the club’s priority transfer target for the remainder of the summer.
That’s according to transfer insider Florian Plettenberg, who points towards Marcus Rashford as the player in question.
Barcelona have of course been forced to reopen their winger search over the course of the last week.
As much comes after Athletic Club star Nico Williams pulled the rug out from under Deco and co, by way of penning a new long-term contract in the Basque Country.
Initially, the Blaugrana’s new priority was understood to be a deal for Liverpool standout Luis Díaz.
As alluded to above, however, amid struggles to find a deal with their Anfield counterparts, Barca have now shifted full focus towards Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
As per a report from Florian Plettenberg:
‘The priority for FC Barcelona is Marcus Rashford. Barca want to try again for Rashford and are prepared to go all-in. A few weeks ago, Luis Díaz was priority number one, as reported, but Liverpool rejected the approach. Rashford is now the clear number one target. Talks are ongoing. Green light from Hansi Flick was already given days ago.’
