Barcelona forward Vitor Roque gives priority to Lazio | OneFootball

Whilst the Brazilian youngster has attracted a great deal of interest as Spanish giants Barcelona announced their intentions to offload the 19-year-old, Vitor Roque has handed Lazio priority and will wait for the Biancocelesti to reach an agreement with the Blaugrana.

As per LazioSiamoNoi, via TMW, the capital club submitted an opening €20m bid, which was quickly rejected by Barcelona with a dry no as the La Liga outfits aim to receive double the amount Lazio submitted in order to absorb the €30m fee they paid Athletico Paranaense to acquire his services nearly six months ago in the winter transfer window.

Despite spiking the interest of several suitors such as Porto, Real Betis, and Valencia, Vitor Roque deems Lazio as his preferred destination as he insists on leaving Barcelona and remaining in Europe.

The rising star is prepared to remain patient until both sides reach an agreement, as there is evidently a significant gap separating the two clubs until they strike a deal.
