Barcelona Femení’s exciting week of transfer activity continued on Thursday with the arrival of Irene Paredes.
The former Paris Saint-Germain captain follows Ingrid Engen and Fridolina Rolfö in making the switch to Barça, and she has signed a contract until June 2023.

The 30-year-old Basque defender began her career with Real Sociedad before going on to play a pivotal role in Athletic Bilbao’s 2016 league title.
That year the Spain international skipper moved to PSG and last season she lifted the first league title in the club’s history.
