Barcelona directors are unhappy with Samuel Umtiti.

Barca were desperate to offload the France defender over the summer, whether that be on-loan or in a permanent transfer.

But Umtiti's injury record and personal terms turned off potential suitors.

Mundo Deportivo says the player also was reluctant to leave Barca, an attitude which has left the board frustrated.

Barca needed to clear their fringe players off the books with debts mounting.
