Barcelona defender Pique: Things improving here; we face Bayern Munich with knife between teeth | OneFootball

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique admits everything is on the line tonight against Bayern Munich.

Barca need victory in Germany to be sure of reaching the Champions League round of 16.

Pique said, "We could spend hours talking about this. We have to look at the present and the future. There are things that make us look forward to it and that things will work out. Different things are seen to the team that it had not had for a long time.

"There are things that we will be incorporating. We will end up competing, but this is not done from one day to the next. We see things like recovering the ball in the opposite field. The team has the intensity and the desire to win. This is the basis of everything. The game and the goal will end up arriving."

He also said, "As life is going and only victory is worth us, I think it is a game to reaffirm ourselves. That we can compete and continue in the top European competition. In the last two games things did not go as we wanted, but they are things we have to focus on winning the game. With what we play we have to come out with the knife between our teeth."
