Mundo Deportivo via Le 10 Sport says Camavinga's move to Madrid was a blow to Barca, where club officials had been in contact with the teen for some years.

Rennes offered the teen to Barca at the end of last season for a price of €30m, but the Catalans didn't have the cash available to close a deal.

As such, Camavinga would eventually sign for Real Madrid in the final hours of the summer market. The 18 year-old penned a contract with Real to 2027.

So far this season, the midfielder has made 14 appearances, scoring once and producing one assist. He has also broken into the France team this year, boasting three caps and one goal.
