Barcelona are considering refusing to play any more games this season until the health and safety of every player is 100% guaranteed.
According to Sport, the club’s directors plan to discuss the possibility of not fulfilling their remaining fixtures if there is a resumption of domestic and European competition.
The Catalan club are intent on putting the health of their players and staff first.
It is believed that Barça do support a gradual return to training with the club confident of being able to keep restrictions in place at their own training base.
There are some reports that La Masia could be used as a place of residence for the first team.
LaLiga has been suspended until further notice since March 23.
Barcelona were two points ahead of Real Madrid at the top of the table before the enforced suspension, and are currently drawing 1-1 in their Champions League last-16 tie against Napoli.
