Barcelona confirm results of Pedri injury tests

Following Spain's win at EURO 2024, injured star Pedri has returned to Barcelona, where the club have run diagnostic tests.

Those results, issued by the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, have confirmed that the 21-year-old has suffered a left knee sprain.

No further news has been revealed regarding recovery time, but the club has confirmed that he remains out for the time being.

The injury was sustained during Spain's quarter-final clash with Germany, when a strong challenge from Toni Kroos saw Pedri launched up in the air.

Kroos has since apologised for the tough tackle.
