Barcelona coach Xavi has held talks with sporting director Mateu Alemany this morning.

A week away from preseason beginning, Xavi met with Alemany to express his frustration over their slow market, says OKDiario.

Xavi was expecting the club to have already announced Bosman deals for Franck Kessie (AC Milan) and Andreas Christensen (Chelsea), along with a deal for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

But for the moment, everything is at a standstill. As such, Xavi wants to pressure the club to speed up the Bosman operations that are already agreed.

The Egarense is concerned that these operations have not already been announced, especially because they are simple and an agreement was reached with both players a long time ago. He has been in communication with the two players consistently in recent weeks.

Things are expected to shift in the coming days as Barca enact the financial levers to sell off a percentage of their TV rights voted on by members last week. The cash injection should be enough to allow Barca to announce the arrivals of Kessie and Christensen.
